Jaguar XK 4.7 Liter Upgrade Kit

This 4.7 litre Twin Spark cylinder head is perfect for anyone looking for neck-snapping power from their XK engine.  Stroked engines produce a lot more torque than standard stroke engines, and the do it at lower RPM.  Stroking also reduces the height of the piston dome, which helps combustion efficiency.

This Upgrade Kit will require that you also purchase a 4.7 L Stroker Kit. This is perfect because it is always good to replace the original crankshaft with a billet steel version. First - a new crankshaft will get rid of the rope rear bearing seal that causes chronic oil leaks, and second, old crankshafts do break when you dramatically increase the power of the engine.

With the CP-Carrillo® forged pistons in this 4.7l stroker kit, you will have an 11:1 compression ratio. Your intake valve diameter will go from 1.875” to 1.950" and your intake cam lift will go from .375” to .421” (w Mild cams or .466” w Street Perf. cams).

You can choose between Mild Performance and Street Performance cams. Mild Performance cams will create sufficient vacuum for the SU HD8 carbs. Street Performance cams prefer Weber carbs or are best for EFI!

What is included in the 4.7 Litre Stroker Upgrade Kit:
