E-Torque’s Twin Spark Ignition System

E-Torque’s Twin Spark Ignition System is specifically engineered to provide accurate spark events to E-Torque cylinder heads with the Twin Plug option.

These twin spark ignition systems include a CNC billet distributor with a lowered base freeing up room for a cold air induction tube to pass over it.  It has a 36-2 toothed reluctor wheel, which provides highly accurate spark timing to an Electronic Control Unit (ECU). It can also take a 2nd Hall sensor for cam position.

The electronics include Hall, MAP and Coolant sensors, two AC Delco six post Coil Packs, and a MS3 ECU.  We manufacture our own Wiring Harness using Aerospace specification wire and connectors to ensure that moisture, heat and vibration do not erode performance over time. These twin spark ignition systems are wired with a fan relay allowing the ECU to control its operation.

E-Torque also offers a Looming Kit (see nested image) that includes two Wire Looms to organize the ignition wires along either side of the head valley. Also included are Champion Insignia boots, 8mm Silicon Ignition Wire, Connectors for coil and plug connections, black Braided Sleeves to run the wires over the cam case. These items will impart a vintage appearance from the 1960’s and keep your ignition wires organized as though Jaguar had designed it originally. Hard Looms are grey but can be painted.
